I just read a facebook comment on my book, THE BLACKWORLD: EVOLUTION TO REVOLUTION that the idea of evolution was Eurocentric. I didn’t respond because I had previously unfriended the commentator for rudeness.

However, it struck me how knowledge was often castigated of being an opposing indoctrination when it doesn’t conform with our prejudices.

The study of evolution has been labelled satanic and misguiding by Christians. In the USA, Christians have insisted on the Biblical creationism story being kept on the school curriculum. Christian scientists were the most vocal opposition to releasing the identity of the oldest ethnic group.

The reason being is that science is only welcome if it furthers our collective goals. But, if it assails the false foundations of a civilization, it is regarded as radical, baseless and in religious settings blasphemy.

This is why Christians and Muslims frown on evolutionary science since it will use empirical evidence to disprove their claims of being the foremost God chosen creations.

Evolution proves that humans evolved from Southern Nigeria – the land of Ifa/Afa/Aha and not that of Adam/abraham. Which to a christian is an Anti-Christ perspective.

If a scientist were to seek research grants for a study to prove the existence of Christ, he would be lauded.

We witnessed the global acclaim given to Darwin, Gobineau and other scholars that ‘proved’ the inferiority of the Black race in 1800s. They conceptualized racism and science became a darling.

However, now that genetics and other sciences prove that evolution occured in Nigeria it has become sinful.

This should awaken the Black race that all knowledge comes from a perspective, and we can’t use the knowledge of our predators to progress.

Long before the DNA studies were conducted linguists categorically stated that all Original african (Bantu) languages evolved from Nigeria. However, mainstream historians derided them and asked for archaelogical proof in a land bones and motal disappear in decades.

For Africas to become first among equals we need to state our perspectives in religion, sciences and arts. Otherwise we will continue wasting resources on scholars and other professionals that can’t help uplift us,
