I laugh at those who complain that African nations have not attained American democratic standards 60 years after independence, and they want to break it up and start afresh. A case of a two month old copying a one year old. They hear Rome was not built in a day but fail to ask how many days? Number your days right to gain wisdom is one of my favorite sayings.
A nations life is counted in 250 years that is tied to the orbit of Pluto, spiritually conceptualized as Oya. The United States is currently undergoing a test of Oya revolutionary winds, itself a product of the 1770 American Revolution swept in by Oya, the last time she tested global structures. United States political structure is being shaken to its foundations and may fall, because of the Three Fifths Compromise and failure to deal with racism at its foundations.
Oyo Empire was a victim of such revolutionary cycles. First in the 1520s, the Nupe Islamist chasing Oyos royal Court to Igboho inspired a new 250yr cycle with the introduction of the Aare Oonakankanfo stool, signifying a militaristic imperialist phase. Foundational weaknesses always threaten the societal sustainability tied to 250yr cycle, which is why these are grim times for United States.
It is mainly civilizations that last 2000yrs which is 8 Oya cycles. As a loose confederation of White states, the Roman Catholic Empire and civilization has lasted for 2000yrs. The global White civilization starting out with Rome Empire in the first 250 yrs of the current Gregorian calendar, changed to a Roman Catholic Empire over the next 2 Oya cycles. It was then broken up into an Abrahamic Afroasiatic Islamic and Abrahamic Eurasian Catholic civilizations. The Afroasians ruled for two Oya cycles from 750AD to 1250AD.
From 1270, the European Catholics discovery gunpowder used to repell and reversed Afroasiatic Islamic hegemony. Europeans gained an upper hand over the next 250yrs as they broke entry into Africa and the Americas. In 1520 British and French Protestanism challenged the Papal spiritual authority of their civilization mired in slavery and gunpowder and started their own global ascendancy, built on slavery and ethnic cleansing of the Americas. The British and French global hegemony started to wane after their 1760 Seven Year War for American territory, and the American Revolution by those they had implanted in America for colonial production.
Europeans in the Americas revolted against European monarchy control and replaced it by propounding a new utopia and system of government where every man was born equal, which they called democracy, but they held onto the racist and Imperialistic culture based on mass production and plantation slavery. George Washington, the leader of the American Revolution had the most slaves while Thomas Jefferson that claimed to believe all men were created equal had over 200 African slaves.
Unable to deal with the moral issue of Africans in tax and political numbers, the 1787 US Constitutional Convention settled for what became the Three Fifths Compromise that regarded a Black person only 60% a human being. Because this had regional implications in political power and federal allocation of resources, it caused a political fault line between the industrial North and Agricultural slaving South.
Public discourse on African rights were barred for 20yrs after which it widen the rift until they fell into civil war, whereby the issue was tackled as state versus federal rights, and not holistically African rights. Though Abraham Lincoln won the war in 1865 freeing slaves, and after his death, Radical Republicans pushed through the constitutional amendments, the essence of true Black freedom and rights was lost in the rigged 1876 presidential election and the 1877 Compromise in which the presidency was awarded to Rutherford Hayes.
It took until the end of the Second World War in 1945 and fear of the Russian Communists for White America to grudgingly give Black people their civil rights in 1968. Even without their Black cultural and human rights, the White Liberals were able to make space for assimilated deculturised African Americans on their political platform until Barack Obama became president and provoked the White conservative backlash with Trump that we now face.
Now, as the winds of 250 yr Oya winds has returned serious faults are to be revealed with regards to racism and the Ogun Military Industrial complex at its foundation. Apart from the Black moral issues, it’s Ogun style of economy known as the Military Industrial complex is being challenged and will be overwhelmed by the Chinese Osun economics. The 2000 yr Abrahamic civilization of Christian and Islamist militaristic empires is giving way to a new 2000 yr era of Enlightenment and global cultural Justice.
However unlike European aging population and declining productivity, the USA will remain strong and prosperous thanks to its Black African links, but not a sole superpower. London, it’s mother has seen eight 250yr Oya cycles and might actual sink into global insignificance and oblivion. Starting with Brexit and loss of markets, followed by its failed attempt to recolonize and exploit the Black commonwealth, and finally Oya in Olokun from 2041 that will see water levels rise, London might be facing a downward bleak future.
Depending on how White America responds to the questions being asked by Oya and the Universe, USA might continue to experience some population growth due to its Black immigrants and might enjoy prosperity through its African Americans trading with the growing African economic centers like Nigeria. Nigerias fastest growing youth population will the springboard of a global Black ascendancy, which Blacks in the Americas might be partners.
However White America must make serious fundamental changes to survive the global civilizational change brought by China and Nigeria. As it is, White Supremacists are poised to fight their war with intransigence, which is why Trump was elected. But the US White supremacists and war hawks will weaken and lose against its many fronts that include containing China, recolonizing Africa and fighting moralistic and ideological battles and anarchy in its homeland. Eventually they will have no choice but to settle for global cultural justice and equity.
