The continued misinterpresentation of Nigerian politics, especially the Civil War, from personality/tribal perspectives instead of wider interest politics and international geopolitics continues to misguide new generations. It fuels them with blind hatred and hopes that will only result in repeating past mistakes that will cost millions of lives and the continued arrest of our political and economic development. Instead of planning how to create a strong powerbase, they are carried away with unachievable undesirable dreams.

Once again, Western imperialists are poised to waste the lives of millions of Nigerian youths in their geopolitical games with the help of misguided psuedo elite that really didn’t understand the mechanics of the Civil War and fallacy of Biafra agitations. They beat their chests as the champions of the tribe and paint the voice of reason as the voices of cowardice and questionable alliance.

The bitter truth of the Civil War not revealed is that it was proxy war, starting with the Western intelligence services that inspired a global corruption propaganda to camouflage the neo-imperialist coups in Nigeria, Ghana and Brazil. The Northern Caliphate reversed the coup in July since the British inspired January 15th coup was a breach of their indirect rule arrangement that the Afroasiatic Northern Caliphate owned and indirectly rule the North and its Original African minority, while Britain owned the Southern protectorate, the Original African heartland that they mischievously broke into two to prevent unity and rise of Original African civilization.

The January coup killing the North leaders was seen as a ‘smash and grab all’ British maneuver, which the North responded with the July coup. Now with all the aces with the North, even though they appointed a Middlebelt figurehead, Gowon, the British/US waged misinformation campaigns to provoke the anarchy and pogroms that resulted in the Civil War. Using one of its two regions of the Southern Protectorate, that was regarded as Oyinbo territory, to make the North realize that under no circumstances would it be allowed to rule the South without the permission of the Western colonists.

The capital of Nigeria was in its Western region of its Southern protectorate, so it used the Igbos of its Eastern region to enforce its interests. This was done by disguising it as a Biafra Igbo struggle mysteriously armed by key British allies – the French it was backing in Vietnam, the Portugal that it was propping up through Brazil and the most ridiculous of all, apartheid South Africa that could never have supported true Black freedom.

If Biafra was solely about the liberation of the Igbos, it won’t have headed to Lagos to take its British sister Western region. It would have firmly secured the Igbo heartland. If anything, it would have headed to the North to avenge the deaths of thousands of Igbos killed. Heading to Lagos was a British message to the North that at the very least, it would make North landlocked and strangulate it, at worse it would unite the South to invade and takeover the North for British interests.

Realizing the odds were stacked against it, the North agreed to reinstate the indirect rule between the Afroasiatic and British interests, while the Original African civilization that accounts for 70% of the population neither had a platform or voice at the table. Though Original Africans were at the table, they were there to protect British interests, not of the South or their people. Until recently I was angry over what I regarded as some elders selling out, but with time and deeper understanding that they did what they had to do in the absence of proper Original African structures. Southern and Middlebelt statesmen had no choice but to use Afroasiatic or Western structures as platforms.

Fortunately, the realization that we need a united Original African platform to achieve our collective aspiration has dawned on some political and cultural elite. The sociopolitical elite see the political wisdom of uniting four regions of the six regions to push for restructuring, while the Sociocultural elite know that to empower us politically, economically and every other aspect we have to build a platform to highlight our common cultural origins and strengthen linkages of the Niger Congo ethnolinguistic family that account for 70% of Nigeria and Black Africans as a whole.

However, we have turned a full cycle as the Western Powers are once again at loggerheads with other civilizations over the control and exploitation of Original African civilization and its human and natural resources. The Chinese building of economic liberating infrastructure across Africa attracted a Western backlash from 2012 through corruption propaganda and terrorists against all Chinese friendly presidents in Nigeria, Ghana, Brazil, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia etc.

Most especially in Nigeria where the Chinese was to make its single largest foreign investment, the $12b Lagos-Calabar railway line linking the Original African heartland, the East and West regions of the British Protectorate of Southern Nigeria. Having to follow the rotational presidency, the Western intelligence inspired corruption propaganda and terrorism worked in favor of the leading figure of the Northern Afroasiatic establishment, who didn’t only cash in their indirect rule dividends through exploiting the forex market, they monopolize the political and security apparatus.

Refusing to spend only one term and threatening permanent Islamization, they fell out with the West and turned back to the very China they were brought in to expel and initially sabotaged Chinese investments. Resorting to their traditional gunboat diplomacy, the West intends to once again agitate their Southern slaves with the false promise of freedom in their own nation state.

They are false promises because the contending civilizational interests can never allow Nigeria to break. If the British, the leading contender allows Nigeria to break, it would lose one of the pieces to the French or Chinese since the North will be landlocked and dependent on surrounding French interests. The British intention is to continue using Yorubas or Igbos to curtail Northern excess in their indirect rule over Original Africans, but can’t have an exploitative indirect rule arrangement with Original Africans over Original African resources. The Yoruba and Igbo separatists are also very useful in preventing the evolution of a united Original African platform based on our common origins and aspirations.

Now, Yoruba and Igbo separatists are useful idiots without the ability to realize the futility of their actions especially since the structure of Nigeria had changed since the Biafra War. Emeka Ojukwu was able to attempt to break a third away from Nigeria because he was the political and military head of the Eastern region. Today, it’s been broken into 9 states, whose governors have no control of the army or any security apparatus. And none of the separatist has democratic control of a single state, not to talk of uniting states to form a formidable separatist bloc.

However, not to discount their only weapon of distracting the unification of an Original African platform, the West can arm Odua and Biafra separatist groups through the same army sources, like with Boko Haram, or like in Syria, to wage an insurgency against Afroasiatic minority government. However, it will merely be an insurgency based on small weapons since the separatists have no control over the ports or territory. Most especially since General Buhari has ensured that all security posts were given to loyal Afroasians that are less likely to sell him out as Goodluck Jonathan was sold out by Northern governors.

Normally, Chinese and Russians are never willing to back Sunni governments, since the Sunni have always been Western Christian allies against the rest since the beginning of Islam. However, they will be forced to protect their recent huge investments in Nigeria and would indirectly arm it to keep peace. Unfortunately like in Syria, where the West couldnt fully arm the anti-Assad insurgents, this will only result in the destruction of political, economic and cultural structures of the South by the federal government fighting the insurgents.

The Afroasians will either be successful in repressing the South with federal might and forever rid the British Western interests from the land, or in the event of imminent defeat due to Southern numbers and economic power, they will once again fall in line with the British and agree to indirect rule. Either way, the Original African foot soldiers will never achieve their dream of a tribal nationstate. Like with the Civil War whereby Biafrans received only £20 each for the millions of lives and properties expended in the pursuit of Western interests camouflage as Igbo interests, the Odua or Biafra separatists will just waste lives fighting for British interest against Fulani Afroasiatic and Chinese interests.

This is why it is very important to reveal the invisible hands behind the Civil War to prevent our youth from being misguided and used to fight other peoples war that won’t change the status quo. Far from being cowards and compromise, the Original African is never afraid of a true war for liberation, but must refuse to be used as a misguided slave army. Neither do the opposing voices see Nigeria as the final destination, but if we are to fight as one Original African civilization, break it at South Kaduna our frontier, and not misconcieved tribal nationstates by teleguided separatists.

If push comes to shove, after all democratic, economic and cultural moves, the right thing to do is to unify the South and Middlebelt as one Original African bloc to take on the Afroasiatic minority. Once the South and Middlebelt unify, the West will switch sides to the North, knowing it is about to lose its grip on the South. The Chinese will in turn back the South against the Abrahamic imperialists of the North and Western World. The Chinese cultural background, Buddhism is a direct derivative of Ifa.

The youth and disenfranchised must realize that instead of the Banana joke being tossed at separatists, the only real solution to our problens is building a South and Middlebelt powerbase based on the political alliance of the cultural linkages of our Original African civilization. This political alliance should unify behind a pro-restructuring Igbo presidential candidate in 2023, then if cheated of his mandate, we should bring all sociopolitical and economic pressures to bare, even if it is sustained civil disobedience or war, as long as we fight as one Original African front and not Western pawns.

Considering the huge propaganda machinery of the imperialists, we must be ready to fight an information war to regain the minds of our people. We must shun wrong labeling like Igbo Coup instead of imperialist coup, West and East region instead of Southern protectorate. We must educate our people of our common origins, linkages and aspirations across South and Middlbelt. Otherwise our Mumu will kill us oo.
