The African Sociocultural Harmony and Enlightenment (ASHE) foundation president, Prince Justice Faloye has revealed how social media, religion, drugs and other evolving technology based incursions have twisted human psychology with manipulative agendas.

In this context, Faloye expressed some worries over an unbecoming technology trend and how today\u2019s information distribution is far more controlled by algorithms. He writes:

If Fela Kuti started off in this generation, he would have lived in the shadows of Wizkid, Davido and Burnaboy, not because their music is more harmonic and socially beneficial, but due to algorithms of social media against anything anti-establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicki Minaj that made millions singing pop songs was called to speak for the most populous Black nation, Nigeria at the United Nations, instead of musicians like Donna Theresa that understand the history and relate it through beautiful, powerful and meaningful music but attract less than a million likes. It is obvious that Water Water Yansh and other superficial songs will continue to trend due to Mumu popular mass psychology agenda.

Fela Kuti\u2019s music gained prominence initially with folklore songs like jeun ku o ku, but once he started enlightening protest music, the government came down on him like a ton of bricks, buying his record label and chasing his producer abroad, and when Fela continued he was arrested, his house burned and eventually jailed. Yet, he was still able to sell his music on the streets. Now, it is far more difficult with the information distribution systems tightly controlled with algorithms.

If I ever knew that publishing books or music was so restricted, that publishing houses were created for specific purposes and not open to all, I probably won\u2019t have engaged in writing fiction and non-fictional books to bring the truth to my people. My greatest shock was that even Black publishers have restrictive categories \u2013 Christian, Islamic, Eurocentric and every other genre apart from indigenous African philosophy.

The apparent African ignorance, decivilization and disunity is not inborn but deliberately social engineered. Social media is now the most popular information channel and unless Africa creates its own information technology infrastructure, its own Facebook, YouTube and other information channels, Africans would remain mentally enslaved to external imperialistic agendas.

As Donna Theresa sang, “control the words, control the story” and you will control the people, without needing a whip. This goes back to the very first books that were mass produced like the Bible that started the two thousand year Age of Pisces\/Olokun from 26AD to 2026AD. The Black African civilization, the world\u2019s first civilization was based on Ifa-Afa-Iha-Fa spiritual sciences that spread from Southern Nigeria to Ethiopia and Egypt, into Asia all the way to Southern China and Japan. Light-skinned peoples evolved several thousands years later from Central Asia mountain caves, and as the Iron Age began, they adapted horse chariots and bows and arrows to challenge and annihilate Blacks from Asia and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being that the Roman Empire was controlled by Europeans in Rome, while most of its resources, 100% gold and 70% foods, came from the Africa side, the Afroasians soon believed they were shortchanged and asked for a more representative governance by creating a different version of the Judeo-Christian narrative known as Islam, which was used to mentally control their conquered peoples as they broke off Christiandom.

The two different civilizational narratives competed against each other, using their mentally enslaved peoples to fight for resources and trade route wars disguised as religious wars by the rich and powerful. Eventually, the European Christian civilization were able to sail around the African coast, avoiding the Islamic Sahel, to take the human and natural resources that made the Afroasiatic Islamists dominate the European Christians for 500 years.

Pope Alexander VI made a fatal mistake of allocating the newfoundlands of Africa and the Americas to Portugal and Spain, which led to the division of the British and French into Protestants. The English King James summoned his own scholars like Shakespeare to write the English version with the characters in English names and used their own narrative to become the world\u2019s largest slave traders and colonizers.

When Europeans in America wanted to shrug off religious European monarchial control, they wrote a constitution. Black American church music that was deemed anti-establishment was also frowned upon. During slavery, the portions of the Bible that preached slave obedience and forgiveness were promoted while the \u2018Let my people go\u2019 portions were rejected as seditious. To evolve from agricultural slavery into industrialization and colonization, two books were produced and backed by the powers that be.

On one side of the Atlantic, Uncle Tom\u2019s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, an 1852 anti-slavery bestseller novel, was used to sway millions of Whites that slavery was wicked, especially since the 300 year Transatlantic slave trade had become less profitable than industrialization and more dangerous due to the Haiti Revolution.

Concurrently, on the African side of the Atlantic, where the aim was to move from slavery to colonization, Bishop Ajayi Crowther was commissioned to write the first Yoruba Bible and Igbo dictionary. This was to kill the indigenous African Information system, to erase the Ifa-Afa-Iha-Fa Indigenous African Civilization. The Yoruba Bible attacked the African belief system by labelling Esu, the nearest equivalent to Jesus, as Satan. If you can label and rename a people, you can make their cultural history disappear and make them mentally enslaved.

The Yoruba label was to breakup and regionalized the continuum of languages known as the Niger Congo ethno linguistic family that spread from Ile Ife to East and South Africa. The British colonists choose a dialect around the Oyo citystate to represent a regional tribal group to be known as Yoruba. They then used the Igbo dictionary to create a linguistic gulf between the continuum of dialects to be known as Igbos and Yorubas by using two different linguistic rules to write them down with Omo written as Umu, Oka versus Akwa etc.

The peoples and structures initially rejected these divisions, but the books were institutionalized over the neighbouring dialects through the Church, education and business, so to survive you must adhere to the language rules. Samuel Johnson was also commissioned to write Yoruba history from a warped pro-Yoruba Oyo perspective, which became the mainstream history and cultural identity. With Christianity being the accepted rulebook of conventions and practices, when Africans absorbed it to a point that they created spiritual churches like Celestial, it was banned as a witchcraft scheme.

Then came Radio in the 1920s which elevated dumbing down mass psychology to follow the Western civilizational agenda. Knowing the powerful essence of music in Black people, White businesses that could afford the technology commercialized defanged Black music. The voices were first removed as Jazz, then Blues turned the call and response music style away from enslaver and the enslaved to love relationship between Man and Woman.

However just as Blacks had adopted previous mass communication channels of religion, books and radio to break the mental slavery through Dumb Mumu mass psychology, the art form of Rap was created. Though the soft rap versions of Sugarhill Gang and LL Cool J were initially accepted, revolutionary rap like Felas evolved from the ghetto that challenged the narrative. However revolutionary rap was countered with gangster rap and a mass drugs culture.

Nevertheless, Religion was still the strongest tool of mass psychology since it contained the Civilizational narrative of origins to revolution. Intelligence agencies created after the second war against USSR communists, especially to stop their revolutionary messages that fueled African liberation, sponsored and gave access to music and films to tailor peoples perception, while Pentecostalism and Fundamental Islam was funded and empowered across the colonized world.

Fundamentalist Islam was used to challenge and bankrupt the Soviet Union, and later moved to destabilize decolonized African nations. Pentecostalism and other prosperity gospel were funded and empowered by intelligence agencies to promote individualism and consumerism over collective reawakening and revolution in the Eighties, which ushered in a period of anti-intellectualism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Nineties, the digital age of social media was sold as an era of free speech but only the idiotic consumerist and sexual speech. People were encouraged and paid to produce content to divert public attention from what really matters. Instead of using it to evolve politically, often times it was used to reverse their freedoms. Fake Arab revolutions were instigated by the West for a palace coup in Egypt that led to the overthrow of Ghadafy in Libya next door. In Nigeria, Blackberry communication was used to wrongly tackle and get Jonathan out of office, while Twitter was used in the EndSars riots.

Countries like China that understood the concept of mass psychology to conquer and enslave minds banned Facebook, Twitter and other Western social media infrastructure, however African neocolonial guards aids them to continue African Civilizational Erasure.

So it is highly unlikely that another Fela will be given access to global audience. Which is why the current generation of Nigerians could be so blinded to accept neoliberal economic policies to reenslave them, and actually accept the invasion of their own country to tackle terrorists that they could eliminate with the right structures like community police. Nobody to teach them that this excuse was the same excuse given to their ancestors to colonize them. For the lack of knowledge a people shall perish.
