It amazes me that some Yorubas and Igbos, the two most populous Original African groups (Niger Congo ethnolinguistic family) could actually believe that the French and Anglo-Saxons of England and USA, the two largest enslavers and colonizers of Original Africans, could actually help and arm them to create a truly free nation.
Original Africans greatest failings are the lack of the knowledge of their cultural and genetic origins. This retards our collective intelligence to properly understand our cultural sphere and the ability to identify our natural allies and predators. It appears that what the British and Fulani elites could see seating down 100yrs ago, Original Africans have not even began to fathom about themselves and linkages.
Our natural bountiful environment and the advent of Abrahamic religions is believed to have affected our critical thinking. The reluctance to even analyse the mutual interests and actions of those known to have shaped our present global consciousness makes us outclassed and outmaneuvered, and turned into slave populations that can neither achieve their collective aspirations in Nigeria or as separate nation-states. Our collective aspirations for a better Nigeria are exploited with regime changing corruption propaganda, while our quest for different nationstates are taken advantage through proxy wars.
Basically, we see from a two dimensional perspective – North-South – and need to upgrade to 3D that includes international geopolitics, especially Britain, France, USA, Russia and China. What are really British interests in creating and sustaining Nigeria as a whole?
Britain is the leading power in Africa, followed by France, both backed with the military and population might of USA, their Euro-American conglomeration built on African slavery and gold.
Britain passed from being the largest transporter of Africans slaves, (France was second), to being the most powerful colonial power in Africa. The entire France colonial Africa of about 17 nations had a combined population less than that of British Nigeria. The amalgamation of Nigeria that tilted the African colonial leadership to the British was based on the luck of having the French being held back in Say on their way to Sokoto. Therefore the British will never allow its Nigerian colonial market to be divided into two and risk France taking African leadership.
The area proclaimed the Northern protectorate was the jewel of France colonial designs in Africa which started in 1819 after the lost of the Americas and Napoleonic wars. To find alternative markets for French produce, they planned to link River Senegal to River Niger into Chad, Cameroon, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, carving out the chest of Africa. The British having done their homework with Mungo Park and Royal Geographic Society, went straight for the heart, Southern Protectorate, from where all Original Africans and resources flowed out.
Britain considers the Nigerian Southern protectorate as its hard sweat that it fought for and will do everything to exercise control, while won’t give up the Northern protectorate, the key piece in French African plans. Britain will do everything within its power to keep control of Nigeria, the most prized nation in the most prized continent, Africa. It will use its Southern Protectorate of Original Africans as slave armies to put the Afro-asiatic Northern Protectorate in place, while it would use the Northern Protectorate of Afro-Asiatic imperialists to exploit and arrest the economic and political development.
If Nigeria breaks up, the French will offer the Northwest access to sea through Cotonou Freeport, opening the western flank of Yorubaland to Fulani herdsmen encroachment, while the French will build an industrial based to rival and take away Anglo-Saxons Lagos manufacturing base. The same thing will happen in Northeast Bornu region which will turn to Cameroun ports.
Once the geopolitical interests of former slaving Western Nations are understood, the original African leadership will not fall for the ruse of Western inspired corruption propaganda or Western armed Separatists movement. They would bargain for a better agreement and not just emotional reactionary movements, or they look further afield for support.
Not only would Britain not support the breakup of Nigeria, it would not allow the South to rule freely over the North, just as the White Slavemaster won’t allow a Negro slave be master over his mulattoes. Blood is thicker than water as Fulani share paternal DNA with Euro-Asians. They also share the same Abrahamic foundations that morally justifies the quest of Original African land and peoples from Ancient Egypt to modern Ife and Aguleri. As slavery came to an end, the Fulani preempt the Europeans in the colonization of Africa by moving from their Futa Jallon homeland to the edges of the Black heartland, which earned them a place at the table of African colonizers with the indirect rule arrangement.
So Original Africans have to look further afield of the British and French spheres for help against Afro-Asiatic and European imperialism that arrests their economic and political freedoms. Away from the former slaving Nations to the non-slaving Nations of Russia and China, whose interests is to remove the African stool that makes the European enslavers overbearing to them, preventing a level playing global marketplace.
Unfortunately, we have also done a poor job of analyzing Russia and Chinese interests, especially the tenets of 1920s International communism which inspired the funding and backing of African liberation movements by Russia and the ongoing development of economic liberating infrastructure across Africa. Basically Russia is the motherland of the White Race, but smaller Western Nations oppress it with African resources and people. So, Russia would rather take away the unfair advantage to enable it assume its natural leadership of the White Race. It started off with arming Chinese liberation and building Chinese steel mills to economically liberate it from British imperialism. Russia tried it with Africa but crashed out when it got to the economic liberation stage of Ajaokuta, however China continued. The Western slaving Nations were able to bankrupt Russia with funding Islamic terrorists and successfully fought back to regain their control of their African colonies with corruption propaganda and separatists movements due to our blurred cultural identity and linkages.
In practice, from Haiti to present, it appears difficult if not impossible to reach out to non-slaving Nations from the Western stranglehold on the political economy. The Western cultural conditioning only allows pro-West leaders into power and if you turn against them they would engage in a destabilization campaign.
Therefore before looking to other sociopolitical spheres for help, Original Africans must first articulate, unify, strengthen and promote their Original African platform based on common genetic and cultural linkages and aspirations. As a bloc they would have a strong hand in the negotiations with other cultural blocs, the West or Orientals. Genetic issues aside, it makes more sense at present for foreign backers of even God to align with the Fulani that can boast of cultural linkages throughout the Sahel up to Medina, than with the disparate Original African groups that only them waka come. A flock of pigeons command more respect and free food than singular birds probably witch driven. Ka rin ka po yi ye loun ye Eiye Ile!
Regardless of what we decide our collective aspirations, charity begins at home so we must strengthen our cultural linkages as Original Africans, properly analyse the Fulani Afro-asiatic and Western interests and actions, and look further afield to Russia and China. Though Buhari came into power with Western backing and has since fallen out with them, and now belatedly seeking Chinese and Russian support, Original Africans must engage in critical thinking and strategic planning to achieve economic and political development.
